With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of MarcHellon Gilmer Burnett (Duncan, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Myrtle Mae Spurlin Gilmer; her husband James Edward Burnett; and her siblings, Chyleen Fowler, Kay Dillard and Tommy Gilmer.
She is survived by: her children, James "Jimmy" Burnett, Jr., Joe Burnett (Susan) and Renee Peace (Pete); her grandchildren, Corrie Peace, Leslie Roper (Derek), Joshua Burnett, Dusty Peace (Nikki) and Leigh Ann Wilkinson (Michael); her great grandchildren, Mikayla, Elizabeth, Will, Ryan, Breah, Eli, Eva, Olivia, Sienna and Bre; her great great grandchildren, Katie, A. J. and Langston; and her sisters, Sally Grice and Rhonda Horne (Bobby). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
