He was predeceased by: his parents, D. B Goldsmith and Ahzalia Goldsmith; and his siblings, Dianne G. Ford and Willie D. Goldsmith. He is survived by: his children, Robin Goldsmith Williams of Atlanta, GA and Breylin Goldsmith (Lexi) of Greer, SC; his siblings, Barbara G. Bruton of Greenville, SC, Debbie L. Miller of Duncan, SC and Carl Goldsmith, Jr. of Lyman, SC; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Aubrey and Maddox.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc. (927 E Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29651). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (201 Jordan Rd, Lyman, SC 29365).
