He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vivian Thorpe Owenby and George Herman Owenby; his children, Sara Gregory, Betty Owenby, Jodi Scruggs (Kevin) and Chad Huff; his siblings, Lewis Owenby (Carolyn) and Jane Kathy Morgan (Tony); his grandchildren, Megan Bishop (Shane), Isaac Scruggs, Cierra Amaker, Emily Davis, Erica Kalogerakis, Gracie Davis, James Davis, Sarah Owenby, Melinda Gregory and Pam Gregory; his great grandchildren, Haizley, Dreamer and Luna; his daughter Mary Jane Owenby; and his brother Steve Thorpe.
