With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth D. Cox (Duncan, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on June 17, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Kenneth had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Kenneth may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Palmer and Viola Davis Cox; his sons, Timothy Mark Cox and Michael Kenneth Cox; and his brothers, Willliam Cox and Johnny Cox.

He is survived by : his wife Doris Marie Willis Cox; and his daughter Donna Cox Woody (Ricky) of Duncan. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the West Spartanburg Baptist Church (431 Silver Lake Rd, Duncan, SC 29334). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
