He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Hazel Chumley and John Marvin West, Sr.; and his sister Hazel Irene West. He is survived by: his wife Melinda O'Dell West; his children, Melissa Petteway (Ray), Charles West (Pam) and Justin West (Colleen); his sister Martha Ann Panther (Martin); his grandchildren, Riley West, Nathan West, Heather Loch and Megan Kerr; and his close friend Norman Castello (Kathy). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
