With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Sexton (Duncan, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sexton and Myrtle Louise McAbee Sexton; his former wife Carolyn Lamb Sexton; his daughter Elizabeth Sexton Brock; and his brother William David Sexton.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Corn Peebles; his children, Caroline Sexton Millican (Joseph) of Inman and John A. Sexton (Geislar) of Lyman; and his grandchildren, Nick Tate, Evan Tate, Ben Millican, John David Sexton, Michael Tucker, Khalil Willingham, John Gregory Brock and Caroline Elizabeth Brock.
