He was predeceased by: his parent Thelma Bess Baxter. He is survived by: his wife Dayle F. Baxter; his children, Deborah Kay Gregory (Jeffery) of Lyman, Rhonda Kay Parker (Gene) of Duncan, SC and Jerry Kay Baxter, Jr. (Andrea) of Duncan, SC; his grandchildren, Thomas Elmo Gregory, Jeffery Andrew Gregory, Kalyn Grace Baxter, Katherine Grace Kramer and Ellison Kay Baxter; and his great grandchild Laila Grace Parker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Hejaz Shrine Center, 200 Ranch Road W., Greenville, SC 29607.
