He is survived by: his wife Janice Rae Niles Mace; his children, Brian Mace (Tina), Earl Mace (Sharon), Amanda Flynn (Tim) and Deborah Lowry (Shane); his siblings, Thomas Mace, Robert Mace (Marlene), Zeb Mace, Geraldine "Geri" Hensley, Emma Warren and Joyce Johnson Field (Beau); and his grandchildren, Courtney Mace, Austin Mace Savannah Miller (Jeffrey), Samantha Elder, Kyle Flynn, Michael Barron, Melissa Barron Cody Lowry (Rianna) and Madison Lowry. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stribling Funeral Home (118 W Main St, Duncan, SC 29334). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church (8931 SC-11, Campobello, SC 29322).
