He is survived by: his parent Christine Townson Murphree; his daughter Regina Pruitt (Randy Owens); his siblings, Russell Murphree, Hank Murphree, Braxton Murphree and Brenda Bowman; his grandchildren, Christa Pruitt, Eric Pruitt, Taylor Pruitt and Brandi Pruitt; and his great grandchildren, Paisley Grace Pruitt and Luke Schultz.
