He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lee and Minnie Mae Pettit Skipper; his wife Ruth Sherbert Skipper; his daughter Judy Ruth McKinney; his grandson Freddie Skipper; and his siblings, James Skipper, William Skipper, Alfred Skipper, Romeo Skipper, Lora Thompson, Willie Burgess, Lou "Nettie" Epley, Arbutus Foster and Agnes Seay.
He is survived by: his sons, Donnie Skipper (Wanda) and Rickey Skipper (Monika). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stribling Funeral Home (118 W Main St, Duncan, SC 29334). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
