He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Clinton and Ruth Short Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Lynn Smith Brewer; his children, Michael Clinton Brewer, Sharon Lynn Reece (Casey) and Rebecca Allison Willis; and his brothers, Barry Brewer and Christopher Brewer (Patricia).
