He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Evans and Jessie Duffie Evans; his siblings, Guy, Steve, Ralph, Dennis Evans, Mae Ellen Emory, Shirley Cantrell, Bobbie Ann Huckby and Ruth Parham; and his nephew Derik Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Gregg Evans; his brother Phil Evans (Cindy); his sister-in-law Deb Reeves (Ron); his nephew Rev. Lance Martin (Allison); his niece Jessica Reeves Padgett (Taylor); and his great-nieces, Sydney, London, Holland Martin, Berkley and Raelyn Padgett. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Jackson Baptist Church, 2668 John Dodd Road Wellford, SC 29385.
