She was predeceased by: her husband Jim M. Powell, Jr.; her sons, Monty Powell and James Lee Powell; and her brother John Harry Purser, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Kaye Johnson (David) of Chesnee and Scotty Powell of Duncan; her grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Cashwell (Austin), Adam Scott Powell and Katherine Elizabeth Johnson; and her great grandchild Easton Cashwell.
