She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrd Sr. Byrd and Sara Parks Byrd; and her husband George Turner Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sara Grant of Clinton, SC, Patrica Simpson (James) of Clinton, SC and Rodney Grant (Linda) of Clinton, SC; and her siblings, Geraldine Scott of Woodruff, SC, Madonna Byrd of Woodruff, SC, Loretta Kesler (David) of Laurens, SC, Sarah Byrd of Washington, DC, Mary Simpson of St Louis, MO and Melvin Byrd (Tammy) of Spartanburg, SC.
