She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Edna Phillips Lowe; her spouse Eber Charles Gowan, Sr.; her children, Gary Gowan (Betty) of Monroe, LA, Rev. Billy Gowan (Jean) of Monroe, NC, Alice Gowan Evans of Holly Springs, Melissa Blackwell (Ricky Suttles) of Spartanburg, Gloria Jean McClusky (Darrell) of California and Barbara Brooks (Jim) of California; her daughter-in-law Sandra Hand Gowan; her son Judge Chuck Gowan; and her brother James Harold Lowe. She was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
