She was predeceased by: her parents, Feltz Crenshaw and Ella Mae Sexton Burgess; her son John Eric Wade; and her brother Donald Wayne Burgess. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Marion Wade; her daughter Lisa Wade Todd (Roderick) of Camden, SC; and her grandchildren, Roderick M. Todd, III of Washington, DC, Catherine Louise Todd of Camden, SC and John Lowry Wade of Moore, SC..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Sharon United Methodist Church, PO Box 418, Reidville, SC 29375.
