He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Verdier and Geraldine Hines Babb. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Faircloth Babb; his children, Michael Babb (Jeannie Mosley-Babb) of Duncan and Bethany Haynes of Duncan; his brother Paul "Kip" Babb of Goldsboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Heather Haynes, Morgan Haynes and Alex Haynes.
