He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Elizabeth Cook Edwards; his son Clifton Neel Edwards III (Mandy) of Duncan; his brothers, Claude Workman Edwards and Pete Cook Edwards; and his aunt Kate "Nanny" Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Bootsy Edwards; his daughter Margaret Edwards Jones (Roy) of Irmo; his sister Virginia Bonner (David) of Laurens; and his grandchildren, Addie Jones Carroll (Chris), Neel Patrick Edwards and Taylor Frances Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
