He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glen Bentley and Gertie Lucille Coggins Bentley; his daughter Tammy Kaye Bentley Peeler; and his siblings, James Willard "Monk" Bentley, William Glen "Tex" Bentley Jr., Arlene Bentley and Martha Jane Bentley Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Calvert Bentley; his daughter Lisa Arlene Bentley Burnett; and his grandchildren, Stephen Peeler, Jeremy Peeler, Courtney Johnson and Alton "Mikey" Burnett. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
