He was predeceased by: his wife Viola Suzie Martin McGill; his parents, Brantley Junior and Helen Elizabeth Young McGill; and his stepson James Norman Simmons. He is survived by: his stepson William Simmons; his daughter Celena Brock of Due West; his sisters, Judy Campbell of Honea Path and Elizabeth Chadwick of Due West; and his grandchildren, Ashley Simmons, Karley McGill and Cody McGill. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
