She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Elmo and Mike Casey; and her former husband James Merry. She is survived by: her husband Phillip Michael Bowser; her children, Colleen Lathan (David) of Rock Hill, SC, Jim Bowser (Laura) of Papillion, NE, Sarah Vande Voort Of (Henry), Adam Bowser of Due West, SC, Elizabeth Hale (Matthew) of Weaverville, NC, Faith Alfonso (Charlie) of New Port Richey, FL and Ben Bowser (Paige) of Abbeville, SC; her brother Michael Casey of Sebastian, FL; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Mason, Isabella, Seth, Henry, Kendall, Clara, Jake, Alec, Cindelle, Ocean, Wesley and Spencer. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
