It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Martin Bishop of Due West, South Carolina, born in Lowndesville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie M. Broadwell and Ethel Mann Broadwell; her husband Bill Martin; her daughter Edith Blair; her siblings, William, Clyde, Wayne, George Broadwell and Edith Broadwell; and her sons-in-law, James Stone and Jimmy Kilgore.
She is survived by: her children, William T. 'Billy Martin, Jr. (Lark) of Pendleton, Jane Martin Hall (Wayne) of Irmo and Diana Martin Stone of Lowndesville; her sister Lena B. Hopkins of Rock Hill; and her grandchildren, Harris Hall (Kristi), Jeff Hall, Greg Kilgore, Mason Blair, Janet Blair, Mary Anna Bowman (William), Suzanne McCalla, Anita Powell (Rusty) and Hayley Williams (Ben). She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
