It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Carlisle (Due West, South Carolina), born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Todd Carlisle; his parents, Hubert Toland and Ora Askins Carlisle; and his siblings, Toland Carlisle, Virginia Ouzts, Edna Levy and Martha Wingard.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Todd Carlisle (Margaret) of Essex Junction, VT, Lucille Slater (Greg Slater) of Columbia and Catherine Hardy (Steve Hardy) of Iva; and his grandchildren, Charles Hardy (Alyssa), Stephen Hardy (Brittany), Todd Hardy, William Slater, Carol Slater Rogers (Brandon), Andrew Carlisle (Ashley) and Elizabeth Carlisle Anderson (Josh). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
