She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence O. Ashley and Bessie Bell Ashley; and her siblings, L. O. Ashley, Proctor Ashley, John Orr Ashley, Harvey Ashley, Leonard Ashley, Ivy Ashley, Edna Bannister, Margaret Ashley and Eva Mae Ashley McCord.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Hawthorne (Arthur) of Iva and Steve Smith (Diane) of Due West; her sisters-in-law, Estherphine C. Ashley of Abbeville and Marilyn Ashley of Hiawassee, GA; her grandchildren, Weston (Wanda), Charles, Amber (Neal) and Cruse (Kelsey); her great grandchildren, Wade, Brylie, Mallie, Macie, Coleson, Smith, Matti and Taylor; and her great great grandchildren, Reece and Tinley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
