Alice Ruth Elwin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Ruth Elwin (Due West, South Carolina), born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alice farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Elwin; her parents, James Valentine and Margaret Martin Valentine; and her siblings, Mildred Ryan, Benjamin James Brownlee and Larry Brownlee.
She is survived by: her children, Alissa Elwin and Michael Valentine; and her sisters, Barbara Harper and Margaret Thompson. She is also survived by loving nieces, great nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at 543 Murdock Rd, Due West, SC 29639.
