It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Christopher Owens Jr. of Drayton, South Carolina, born in Woodruff, South Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C. Owens and Edna Robertson Owens; his children, Chris, Michael and Desa; his son-in-law Stephen Quinn; and his nephew Donald Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Murray Owens; his daughter DeDee Owens Quinn; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Carly and Cole Quinn; and his siblings, Bruce Owens (Brenda) of Inman, Barbara Hernandez (Donald) of Melbourne, Darleen Timmerman (Mark) of Laurens, SC and Sandy Owens of Gaffney, SC. He is also survived by five nieces, five nephews, twelve great nieces, six great nephews, one great-great niece and three great-great nephews.
