With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mattie Blassingame (Drayton, South Carolina), who passed away on May 11, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ethel Fitzpatrick; her husband Wesley Blassingame; her brother Dan; and her granddaughter Fredrica N. Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Elaine White of Spartanburg, Jennifa Hunter of Anderson, SC, Michael Blassingame (Dolline) of Chattanooga, TN and Kenneth Blassingame (Angela) of Spartanburg; her cousins, Richard and Renata Dandy; and also, Stan, Paula Baker, J. P. Beahr, Lamar Beahr, Shirley Gibson, Kay McLain and Jimmy Salters. She is also survived by her ten grand children; her twenty great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
