It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Pate of Dorchester, South Carolina, born in Summerville, South Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Smith Pate of Dorchester; his daughters, Karen Pate (Danny Robbins) and Lynn Judy (Kent); and his grandchildren, Megan Schwendinger of Fort Collins, CO, Katey Schwendinger of Tallahassee, FL, Corey Judy of Reevesville and Krystal Judy of Reevesville.
