It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Christopher Brophy of Dorchester, South Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Bonita "Bunny" Brophy; his children, Magen Miller (Bryon) of Cross, Amy Whitfield (Charles) of Ridgeville, Chad Howard (Sharon) of Goose Creek and Todd Howard (Melissa Smith) of Summerville; his grandchildren, Jeffery Howard of North Dakota, Caroline Howard of Summerville, Brandon Pavlic of Goose Creek, Dakota Miller of Cross, Matthew Miller of Cross and Caden Howard of Goose Creek; his brothers, James Brophy (Joyce) and Kevin Brophy (Melissa); and his pet Linus. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
