With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jackie Edward Roberts of Dorchester, South Carolina, who passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wright Roberts and Effie Lemacks Roberts; his siblings, Raymond, Eugene, Eurel Nettles and Lourie Benton; and his daughter-in-law Tanya Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Ruth Pate; his sons, Patrick Roberts (Sharon), Todd Roberts and Bart Roberts (Denise); his grandchildren, Chris, Tiffany, Lauren (Fred), Caroline (Will), Will, Celeste and Summer (Michael); his stepgrandchildren, Samantha (PJ), Colton Burley, Chelsea, Connor, Maya and Nicholas; and his brother Mendel Roberts (Uldene).
