We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2023, at the age of 77, Henry Warren Hughes III of Dorchester, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Warren Hughes, Jr. and Lillie Catherine "Doll" Infinger Hughes; his daughter Christian Leigh Hughes; his brother David Lebby Hughes; and his niece Connie Louisa Heatley Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Coleman Hughes; his children, H. W. Hughes, IV (Christine) of Dorchester and Nikki Hughes Evans (Bobby); his grandchildren, Taylor C. Hughes, Coleman E. Hughes and T. Beckett Evans; his sisters, Mildred Heatley (Albert) of Dorchester, Peggy Myers (Hugo) of Summerville and Darlene Atkins (Talmadge) of Dorchester; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Hughes Gieger, Emily Grooms (Danny) and Nancy Lee (late Teddy). He is also survived by 7 nephews, 5 nieces, 14 great-nieces, 16 great-nephews, 3 great-great nieces and 2 great-great nephews.
