It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Nettles of Dorchester, South Carolina, born in Summerville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessie Catherine Knight Nettles and Joseph Robert Nettles (Robbie); his wife Annette Nettles; his siblings, Dan, Robert, Melvin Nettles and Lula Etheredge; and his nephew James A. Nettles.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Nettles (Edward Kimmons) of Summerville and Debbie Steese (Marty) of Cross, SC; his grandchildren, Chuck Kimmons (Mandy), Crystal Evans (Samson), Joey Kimmons (Eighmey) and Casey Kimmons (Travis); his great grandchildren, Peyton, Bryson, Joby, Jake, Chase, Masie and Colton; his sisters, Regina Knight of Summerville, SC and Dianne Nettles of Summerville, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Nettles, Linda Nettles and Bobby Etheredge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
