With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chad McCloud of Dorchester, South Carolina, born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on May 26, 2021 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George McCloud and Grace Lee McCloud (Wooten); his grandparents, Joseph McCloud, Sr., Annie McCloud and Carrie L. Wilson (Sims); and his aunts and uncles, Eddie L. Wilson (Ettell), Meadow Lark Lemon, Elizabeth Sims (Bell) of Stamford, CT, Denise Wilson of Stamford, CT and Gail James of Harleyville, SC.

He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce McCloud Francois (Ducasse) of Camden, SC, Tammie Harris of Wren, GA, Treisy Usry (Melvin) of Matthews, GA and Thaddeus A. Sims of Dorchester, SC; his stepmother Juanita "Lou" McCloud; his aunts and uncles, Johnny McCloud (Willette) of Saluda, SC, Robert Wilson of Stamford, CT, Shirley McCloud of Augusta, GA, Deborah "Debbie" Boyd (William) of Harleyville, SC, Jean Meadows (Curtis) of Bridgeport, CT, Sarah Wilson of Dorchester, SC, Regina Wilson of Dorchester, SC and Teresa Ancrum (Don) of Summerville, SC; his great-aunts, Evelyn Moses of Dorchester, SC and Bertha Sims of Dorchester, SC; his cousins, Eva Jeans Burns of Norwalk, CT, Ryan Brown of Summerville, SC, Brandon Lemon and Bianca Wilson; and his close friend Larrisa Berry Cobb. He is also survived by loving cousins, many relatives and friends.
