He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle S. Nickles and Margaret Smith Nickles; his daughter Christina Margaret Nickles; and his sister-in-law Georgeann M. Nickles. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wilson Nickles; his children, Monica Patterson (Carey), Brent Nickles of Donalds, Jamie Nickles (Misty) of Abbeville and Sherrie Dansby (Bob) of Abbeville; and his brother Joe W. Nickles of Donalds. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two nieces.
