He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Jeanette Davenport Mattison of Highway; his parents, Clifton Williams and Virginia "Jack" Gaddis Mattison; and his brother Jack Benny Mattison. He is survived by: his nephews, Rickey Timms (Roxine) of Waterloo, Carroll Strickland (Amy) of Donalds and Austin Meyers (Reagen) of Ware Shoals; and his siblings, David C. Mattison of Honea Path and Norma Abercrombie of Greenwood.
