He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Junior and Jerelean Agnes Campbell McClain; and his siblings, Tony Randall McClain, Judy Earline McClain and Debbie Hilton.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie Baynard McClain; his children, Austin McClain (Ashton Johnson) and Hayley Smith (Justin) of Honea Path; his siblings, Dennis McClain (Elaine) of Pelzer, Jackie McClain (Kathy) of Piedmont, Connie Brock of Honea Path and Donna Hoffstetter of Belton; and his grandchildren, Madison Smith and Jayden Smith.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 3-4 P.M.Thursday at the church prior to the service, In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Donalds Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Po Box 91, Donalds, SC 29638.
