She was predeceased by: her husband James Marvin Phillips; her parents, Luther Campbell and Addie Lee Jennings Campbell; her children, Maxie Phillips and Ruth Davis; her siblings, John, Roy, Clarence, Wade Campbell, Helen Phillips, Bobbie Posey and Betty Alewine; and her grandson Maxie Phillips, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dale Phillips (Janice) of Honea Path, Donnie Phillips (Elaine) of Honea Path and Allie Hill (Tommy) of Donalds; and her sister Sybil McCoy (Clarence) of Honea Path. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
