With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Hamilton Vance of Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, H. L. Hamilton and Beatrice Allen Hamilton of Smithfield, NC.. She is survived by: her husband Charles Robertson Vance, III of Dillon; her children, Jaime Hayes (Todd) of Dillon, Brooke Rushton (Ryan) of Johns Island, SC and Charles R. Vance IV (Faith) of Johns Island; her grandchildren, Ella, Griffin Hayes of Dillon, Vance and Maggie Rushton of Johns Island; her sister Ann Swertfeger of Smithfield, NC; and her caregiver Mary Bethea. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and countless dear friends.
