He is survived by: his wife Marie "Tootie" Hayes of Dillon; his sons, Stephen Hayes, Jr. (Susie) of Latta and Bobby Hayes (Amanda) of Minturn; his grandchildren, Lily Hayes, Asa Hayes and Charles Wiggins, Jr.; his great grandchild Logan Wiggins; and his sisters, Wanda Christenburg and Sandy Powers (Gerald). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law.
