He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Jacobs and Saffo Jacobs; his siblings, Dorothy, Gertha Jacobs, Kenneth Ray, Nathaniel and Soloman Jacobs; his children, Jeffery Jacobs, Carlinda and Cynthia Jacobs; his significant other Queen Esther Sweat; and his grandson Johnathan D. Locklear.
He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Davis (Norman) and Luther Jacobs; his grandchildren, Heather Michele Justice and Jordan D. Cummings; his great grandchildren, Madilynn Cummings, Kingston and Julianna Locklear; and also, Judith Deese, Vickie Hunt, Bonnie Lowery (Dewayne), Terri (Timmy) and Pittman (Jessica). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
