She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Leon Moore and Cattie Mae Owens Moore; her former husband Wilbert Cook; her husband John C. Lane; her children, Tammy Cook and William Billy Lane; her grandchild Callie Diana Alford; her son-in-law Nelson Lane; and her niece Karen Nolan.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Tanner, Sheila Lane (Nelson) of Latta, Bruce Cook of Dillon and Lynn Cook (Tracie) of Wilmington, NC; her sister Maxine Sparks (Cliff) of Latta; and her niece Kathy Fore of Florence. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
