We bid farewell to Lavern Carpenter Brigman (Dillon, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 20, 2025 at the age of 79. Lavern Carpenter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carpenter Brigman and Florence Brigman; his brother-in-law Richard Gardner; and his sister Floranne Johnson (Joe). He is survived by: his wife Pamela Gardner Brigman; his daughter Caroline Nicole Mishoe (Derek); his grandchildren, Lorelai, Britton and Sebastian; his mother-in-law Eloise Gardner; his siblings-in-law, Mitchell Gardner (Judy) and Jackie Gardner; his siblings, Ray Brigman, Johnny Mack Brigman (Sandra), Percy Brigman (late Joyce) and Kathy Cassidy (late Rich); his friends, Bill and Genny Coward; and also, Maddie and Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Catfish Creek Baptist Church (1495 Catfish Church Rd, Latta, SC 29565). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
