She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dunk Thompson and Julie Ann Nolan Thompson; her siblings, Robert Jr. Thompson, Carl Thompson, Baby and Linda Faye Thompson; her uncle Junior Thompson; and her cousin John Garner.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda McDowell (Stevie) of Latta; her granddaughters, Lizzie McDowell (Dylan) and Krystal McDowell; her great grandchildren, Presley McDowell and Cheyenne McDowell; her siblings, Travis Thompson of Latta, Ed Thompson of Bennettsville, Eugene Thompson (Martha) of Mullins, Daisey Lovett (Gene) of Latta and Kay Godbolt (John) of Lugoff; and her sister-in-law Beth Thompson of Latta.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Latta Church of God (319 E Academy St, Latta, SC 29565).
