With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda B King (Dillon, South Carolina), born in Rowland, North Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Brenda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Brenda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Brenda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Branch and Henrietta Brigman Branch; and her spouse Teddie Wayne King. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Nell Grainger of Columbia and Elnora Cox of Lake View; her nieces, Judy Huggins of Hamer, Linda LiCause of Sugar Valley, GA and Karen Mason (John) of Calhoun, GA.; and her nephew Mike Hamer (Madge) of Hamer.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
