She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Rowell Jones and Bessie Marie Jordan Jones; her husband James Fleetwood Stokes, Sr.; and her siblings, Marie Thompkins, Bethany James, Trudy Case Shockly, Elnita Smith, Ruth Daniel, Nancy Roberts, James Thomas Jones, Jacob Rowell Jones, Jr., William Stephen Jones and Emerson Ford Jones.
She is survived by: her children, J. Fleetwood Stokes, Jr. (Dana) of Denmark, SC, Lisa S. Scott (Keith) of Morganton, NC and Holly S. Hutto (Mike) of Williston, SC; her grandchildren, Fleetwood Stokes (Brittany), Bethany Sandifer (Dillon) and Taylor Stokes; her children, Michael Scott (Lucy), Virginia Scott, James Ross Scott and Katie Hutto; and her sister Della Jones Kirkland of Batesburg. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
