He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bracey and Floria Dell Bracey; his son Tyrone Donaldson, Sr.; his daughter-in-law Sherell B. Donaldson; his granddaughter Royalty A. Thompson; his sisters, Shirley Bracey Bellamy and Mary Alice Bracey Miles; and also Lawrence L. Bracey, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Donaldson of Blackville; his children, LaTonya B. Thompson (Martin, Sr.) of Blackville, Sheryl Jones of Savannah, Georgia, Rhonda Bracey of Orangeburg, Charisse Bracey, Alvin Donaldson, Sr. of Blackville and Otis Brown, Sr. of Virginia; his brothers-in-law, Jesse Bellamy of Philadelphia, Jimmie Donaldson of Blackville and Goldie Donaldson of Blackville; his nephew Lance; his niece Jennifer Bracey of Denmark; and his caregiver Barbara Wallace of Denmark. He is also survived by grandchildren; (19) great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dash's Funeral Home - Blackville (19620 Solomon Blatt Ave, Blackville, SC 29817). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (832 Mt Zion Rd, Blackville, SC 29817).
