He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fred Curtis and Viola Dyches Infinger; and his son Robert Sweatman. He is survived by: his children, Debra Ray (Richard) of Hilda, John David Curtis (Dezeray) of Barnwell, Jamie Churchwell (Kevin) of Blackville, John Daniel Curtis (Kristen) of North Carolina, Clifford Curtis of Bamberg and James Allen Giamportome (Cindy) of Beaufort; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Robert, Adrienne, Landon Ray, Lexi, Kendra, Josh, Austin, Landon Curtis, Hailee, Ayden, Cliff, Jr., Shy, David and Brandon; and his great grandchild Tyler Hankins. He is also survived by 21 brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
