He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover D. Hutson and Mary Johnston Hutson; his brother Jackie Hutson; and his sister-in-law Kay Hendrix. He is survived by: his wife Alma Wagers Hutson; his daughters, Reneé Hutson Hope (Monty) of West Columbia and Cynthia Hutson-Porterfield (Tommy) of West Columbia; his grandchildren, Trey Hope, Albert Hope, Addison Reneé Porterfield and Ruby Kate Porterfield; his sisters, Mary Frances Long (Eugene) of Jacksonville, FL and Roberta Still (Ernest "Bubba") of Westminster, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Harriett Hutson of Myrtle Beach, Annie Mae King of Raleigh, NC, Woodrow Wagers (Netta) of Chapin, SC, Walter Wagers (Carol) of St. George, SC and James Wagers (Mary) of St. George, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
