She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dorothy Brown of Cross, SC and Lewis Brown of Cross, SC.; her sons, Tondrae Garrett of Denmark, SC and Kennard Garrett (Lori); her siblings, Luther Green (Cercelia), Joe Lewis Brown of Ladson, SC, Bernard Brown (Naomi), Curtis Brown (Vermell), Cornelious Brown of Cross, SC, Marie Peña of Bronx, NY, Dr. Luretha Brown Sumpter, Doris Brown of Cross, SC and Saundra Brown-Wigfall (Nathan); her grandchildren, Avian Garrett, Tondrae Garrett, Jr., Alexandria Brie Garrett, Elijah Williams, Grey Garrett and Guy Garrett; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Garrett, Jr. of Trenton, SC, Alexander Garrett of Trenton, SC, Charlie Garrett of Trenton, SC, Willie James Garrett of Trenton, SC, Eliza Middleton of Augusta, GA, Mattie Jackson of Augusta, GA and Minnie Pearl Turner (Johnny). She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation in Idean Garrett's name.
