She is survived by: her children, Fonta D. James, Latoya Y. James, Shanora L. James, Travis L. James and Sonya E. James; her siblings, Jessie M. James, Rosa J. Wallace, Mae Terry (Donald), Bobbie Williamson (Joseph), Marsha Ann Sheppard (Maurice), Rosa Mae Hickman and Alfonza James (Diane); her half-sister Sarah Campbell (Randall); her sister-in-law Lillie Jacobs; and her godmother Van Jo Williams. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lawson Grove Baptist Church (3585 Lawson Grove Rd, Hartsville, SC 29550).
